ALAN KAUL
Dr. Alan Kaul, the founder of Medical Outcomes Management, is an accomplished health care professional, researcher, and clinician. He brings more than 45 years of experience working with federal and state governmental agencies such as PCORI, DHHS, PCRF, accountable care organizations, hospitals, managed care organizations, third-party administrators, and the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnical industries to improve healthcare outcomes.
Alan offers broad experience in comparative effectiveness research, clinical and financial analyses, problem solving, managing cross-functional teams, team building, communications, and medical writing and presentations. He has demonstrated his ability to relate to stakeholders and clinicians in defining patient-centered population health management goals and the economic and the societal values of health care interventions such as the role of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products and medical devices and products and their places in society.
Dr. Kaul has published extensively and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member of numerous peer-reviewed journals. Alan is a Credentialed Pain Management provider by the Academy of Integrative Pain Management and a Fellow in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. He received a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharmacotherapy) from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a Master in Business Administration (Finance) from Suffolk University, a Master of Science (Pharmacology) and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Northeastern University.
